Promising Drug For Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and MS

A new class of drugs that have been developed at Northwestern University Fienberg School of Medicine is finding a cure for Alzheimer’s in a different way. The new class of drugs (MW151 and MW189) combat a very specific type of brain inflammation that is common thru-out Alzheimers, Parkinson’s, and MS. A recent press release from Northwestern shows that they have already been issued with patents that allow licensed commercial development to a company that just completed their first phase of testing the drug in humans. This can be a very promising drug once more trials are completed, and we will keep you updated on this new “One-fits-all-wonder drug.”
