It is not possible for government to be all things to all people. Money is not infinite and therefore if people are going to make the government to be the provider of health care for them (with taxes that the people have paid), prepare to not have your individual desires fulfilled. The solution is that government should not provide health care. People should pay for most health care directly in competitive markets. Insurance should be returned to its proper role of compensating for unexpected large financial losses; not routine things like birth control.

Health Care should be seen as a human right. It is only the free market place that desire to make a profit from other people’s misfortune.

Free markets do not want to provide decent wage for a decent days work.

So now you are advocating health care on someone’s ability to pay.

If you only have enough money to provide a roof and food for your kids and spouse, how can you afford health care?

I repeat, health care should be a human right and the cost spread out universally across society.

Quit giving corporate welfare, and we could afford health care budgets.

When you say “Health Care should be a human right”, do you mean the ability to obtain medical care should be a human right? Or do you mean the payment for medical care?
Human rights, can’t by nature involve the obtaining of good or services from a supplier. It can not be a “right”, if it must be taken from one person and given to another. To be a right, it cannot infringe on another person, such as the right to free speech, or the right to religious freedom, or the right not to be discriminated against.

Health Care should be seen as a human right. It is only the free market place that desire to make a profit from other people’s misfortune.
WHAT ABOUT GROCERS, FARMERS AND HOME BUILDERS? THEY PROFIT FROM BASIC HUMAN NEEDS ALSO. ARE THEY SUPPOSED
TO PROVIDE THEM WITH NO PERSONAL BENEFIT IE. NO VOLUNTARY UNCOERCED VALUE FOR VALUE EXCHANGE? YOU IMPLY THAT
THEY SHOULD TAKE A LOSS FOR OTHERS GAIN. HOW CAN THAT BE SUSTAINED?

Free markets do not want to provide decent wage for a decent days work.
FREE MARKETS ARE ABOUT VOLUNTARY EXCHANGE. PROVIDE THE EMPLOYER WITH A DECENT DAY OF PRODUCTIVE
WORK AND OF COURSE HE WILL PROVIDE A PROPORTIONATE WAGE OTHERWISE A GOOD EMPLOYEE WILL GO
ELSEWHERE. IS THE EMPLOYER SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE THE EMPLOYEE WITH MORE THAN HE IS WORTH TO THE BUSINESS?
IF THAT IS THE CASE, HOW IS THE BUSINESS SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE?

So now you are advocating health care on someone’s ability to pay.
YES. AND THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AN UNFORTUNATE SEGMENT OF THE POPULATION THAT CANNOT PAY.
A JUST AND FREE SOCIETY WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM WITH COMPASSION AND VOLUNTARY CHARITY. THIS IS PRECISELY
WHAT DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS DID BEFORE WORLD WAR 2 WHEN GOVERNMENTS STARTED GETTTING INVOLVED WITH THIRD
PARTY PAYMENT SYSTEMS THAT HAVE DRIVEN COSTS THROUGH THE ROOF IN BOTH CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES.

If you only have enough money to provide a roof and food for your kids and spouse, how can you afford health care?
WHY IS IT THAT WE EXPECT PEOPLE TO PAY FOR THE ROOF OVER THEIR HEAD AND THEIR FOOD BUT NOT HEALTH CARE WHEN
THEY ARE ABLE TO DO SO? WHY THE LOW RANKING FOR HEALTH CARE AS AN IMPORTANT EXPENSE? IS HEALTH CARE SUPPOSED TO JUST
MAGICALLY APPEAR WITHOUT IT BEING VOLUNTARILY PRODUCED BY SOMEONE? REMEMBER, NO ONE HAS TO BECOME A PHYSICIAN AND NO
ONE HAS TO REMAIN ONE IF SOCIETY’S VIEW OF THEM IS THAT THEY ARE SERFS OF THE STATE THAT ARE TO PRODUCE CARE WITHOUT
EQUITABLE COMPENSATION FOR THE YEARS OF TRAINING, HIGH LEVEL DECISIONS THEY MAKE, LONG HOURS, LIABILITY ETC.

I repeat, health care should be a human right and the cost spread out universally across society.
IF YOU BELIEVE THAT HEALTH CARE IS A RIGHT, THEN THERE ARE TWO IMPLICATIONS TO THIS. YOU EITHER BELIEVE
THAT IT WILL MAGICALLY APPEAR FROM NOTHING WHICH IS ABSURD OR THAT SOMEONE SHOULD BE COMPELLED TO PROVIDE
IT WHICH IS UNJUST.

Quit giving corporate welfare, and we could afford health care budgets.
HUH?? CORPORATIONS (THAT PLAY BY THE RULES) CAN ONLY MAKE A PROFIT IF PEOPLE VOLUNTARILY
CHOSE TO PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS. IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE LOW PRICES OF WALMART AND HOME DEPOT
THAT SAVE FAMILIES THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS EVERY YEAR (WHICH THEY CAN THEN SAVE, INVEST OR SPENT ON
OTHER THINGS IE. THEY HAVE HAD THEIR LIVING STANDARDS RAISED BY THESE EVIL CORPORATIONS)THEN DON’T SHOP THERE.
WARM FUZZY GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE IS A SOCIALIST MONOPOLY THAT DELIVERS A LOUSY PRODUCT THAT YOU ARE FORCED
TO ACCEPT.
LOW CORPORATE TAXES PROMOTE BUSINESS GROWTH WHICH EMPLOYS PEOPLE MAKING THEM WEALTHIER. WHY
IS CANADA’S ECONOMY GROWING THE FASTEST OF ALL G20 NATIONS? LARGELY BECAUSE OF LOW CORPORATE TAX RATES.
THANK GOODNESS FOR CORPORATIONS.
