When you register as a Bidder on MediBid, you’ll have access to cash paying patients seeking care. Compare that to a phone book ad - not everyone who picks up a phone book is looking for a medical specialist, but everyone one who joins MediBid is. Patients pay a fee per request placed to ensure that only serious Seekers are requesting Bids from you. Patients can review your profile in our interactive medical directory, and send a request to you directly asking you to review their information and Bid. Similarly, you can browse through the patients currently trying to find a doctor or surgeon. You can’t do that with a traditional doctor directory.

What do you mean “Bid?”
Your Bid on MediBid is a custom price quote given directly to the patient. Just as a contractor might give a bid for a job, medical specialists are given the opportunity to give a ‘job bid’ for a patient. This Bid is much more than a price quote because it lists what you will and won’t include in that price based on the unique needs of the patient. MediBid lets you take back medicine by setting your own rates, terms, and conditions. Patients are not looking for the most affordable medical care on MediBid, but they do want a specialist that will give them honest, upfront pricing. Your Bid is an offer to provide the service they need on terms that are right for you.
Every Patient is Unique
A medical billing code only allows you to do so much within a set price. With MediBid, you don’t need any billing codes. Every patient is unique, which means you can customize your Bid to best suit you and the patient.
Many medical providers are concerned about giving a Bid to a patient without enough information upfront. If a particular patient asking for treatment doesn’t provide enough information, give them a Bid for a consultation only. If another has uploaded a referral and the images or lab results you need, give them a Bid for the procedure with or without facility fees built in. They are direct contracting with you, not us. Their health is their decision and they value your opinion. That’s why they want to see you and will pay cash to do so. All patient agreements on MediBid are made with the understanding that the price in the bid you gave them does not include complications

“I only want certain types of patients”
If you are an individual practitioner and there are procedures that you see on MediBid that you can’t offer, then don’t check the box next to that procedure when you register. It’s that simple! There are over 600 procedures available on MediBid. Check the boxes for medical procedures you want to see new patients for. Even if it is only one procedure, we can still help you connect with patients when they are looking for that one procedure you want to offer.
“I want to enhance my practice with domestic and international medical tourists”
Registering on MediBid.com, you have many ways you can enhance your practice.
