Massage therapy is defined as the application of various techniques to the muscular structure and soft tissue of the human body to manifest health benefits. The application of a massage may include stroking, kneading, tapping, compression, vibration, rocking, friction, and pressure to the muscular structure or soft tissues of the human body. There can be a plethora of advantages to using massage therapy such as decreased anxiety, enhanced sleep quality, greater energy, improved concentration, increased circulation and reduced fatigue.
