Description:
Endovascular repair surgery can treat one of several aortic aneurysms, such as an abdominal aortic aneurysm or a thoracic aortic aneurysm. A tubular graft or sheath is typically used for this surgery and placed around the affected artery. In some cases, a stent will also be used. This surgery is usually performed under general anesthetic.
