ACL Repair

Body Area: Legs / Feet
Body Parts: Knees
Symptoms: Inability to Bear Weight
Description:
The ACL is the Anterior Cruciate Ligament within the joint. To repair the ACL, arthroscopic or open surgery may be used, depending on your unique case. During ACL surgery, a graft of either one of your own tendons or from a tissue donor will be used to repair and reconstruct your ACL. Physical therapy after ACL repair is usually suggested for 4 months or more.
