Second Opinion (Primary Care)
Body Area: Arms / Hands
Body Parts: Whole Arm
Symptoms: Bruising
Description:
A second opinion is your chance to talk to a different doctor about the findings or suggestions of a previous doctor. If you do not feel that the first doctor had accurate information, or if you would like to talk to someone about a different treatment that the first doctor may not have been familiar with, ask for a second opinion from someone different. During this office visit, the second doctor will go over your records and findings from the first doctor, so be sure to bring everything with you. Sometimes a the doctor giving the second opinion will come to the same conclusion of the first, but sometimes getting a second opinion saves lives. If you are at all doubtful, talk to another doctor.
