Will car insurance reform be next?

If you owned a car insurance company, and the government told you that starting in 6 months from now, you could no longer charge drivers with DUI’s and lots of speeding tickets any more that you charged good drivers, and also you could not give good drivers a discount….and also, you could not exclude pre-existing conditions like bent fenders, or cracked windshields.

Do you think you’d have to start raising rates?

I just heard from someone today who got an 85% increase in rates. I think the effects of the reform are starting to happen already.
