CBO: Confusing Budget Obfuscation? John Stossel

The CBO has ruled that the current bill along with the revenue from the student loan bill will reduce the deficit by $138 billion over 10 years. What the administration has not made public is that this deficit reduction relies on doctors getting a 21% cut in Medicare reimbursements, which will reduce access. If doctors current reimbursement rates stay as is, this bill will cause an increase in the deficit of $59 billion.  Doctors are already paid at rates below cost, so a 21% rate reduction would cause many more to stop taking Medicare patients.
